Connecting email & SMS intake
LeaseFix can take requests from a hosted form, your existing maintenance email, or a forwarded text line.
The hosted tenant request portal
Every workspace gets a hosted intake form at a public URL — no setup required. Find yours under Settings → Integrations → Tenant Portal. Share it with tenants directly, or embed the link on your website.
Email forwarding
You'll see a unique LeaseFix intake address in Settings → Integrations → Email intake (defaults to maintenance@leasefix.co at the workspace level for new accounts). Set a forwarder on your existing maintenance@ inbox to point at it. Incoming emails are parsed into a structured request — sender becomes the tenant, subject and body become the description, and attachments become photos.
SMS intake
If you'd like a dedicated text-message line, request one from Settings → Integrations → SMS. We provision a number scoped to your workspace and route inbound messages into the request queue, matched to the tenant by phone number when possible.
What gets captured
- Tenant name and contact (auto-matched if known)
- Free-text description of the issue
- Photos and other attachments
- Channel (form, email, or SMS) for context
What happens next
Each new request lands in the queue with a draft urgency, category, and missing-info checklist suggested by AI. A coordinator reviews and either dispatches a work order or asks the tenant for the missing detail.
